Hello, my name is Kimberly Scott the Owner and Director of Scott Academy. I am a wife, mother of three wonderful boys, and a dog mom of two Golden Doodles. My family has been my greatest source of inspiration and motivation. Each day, I strive to be a role model by demonstrating the importance of perseverance, dedication, and the pursuit of one’s passion. From a young age and growing up I knew that I wanted to make a difference in the lives of others. While being surrounded by a loving supportive family; the values of hard work, compassion, and the importance of education was instilled in me. I was originally born and raised in Jacksonville, Fl., where my journey of education began at Good Shepherd Christian Academy. This is when I discovered my passion of learning and helping others. After graduating from Andrew Jackson High School, I began my studies in Early Childhood Education and began working in Childcare. While in the field of Childcare I pursued my Associate’s in Art degree (AA) along with becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. As time went by, I maintained in Childcare and eventually earned both an Associate’s of Science (AS) in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. These academic achievements were not merely degrees but stepping stones towards my goal of making a meaningful impact on people ‘s lives and in my community. My career in Early Childhood and Nursing has been deeply fulfilling and I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, providing exceptional care and education to those I encounter with. My work is driven by a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Each person that I encounter with teaches me something new, reinforcing my commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. Education has been at the core of my journey, and I am committed to lifelong learning and seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills.
